Match report Mildenhall 1st X1 travelled down to Elmstead Market to play bottom club Elmstead Grasshoppers. The home side batted first and soon dispelled any thoughts that it might be an easy fixture for Mildenhall. Elliott (46) and Perrin (49) put on 93 for the second wicket. Once again it was the introduction of Azeem Ghumman that turned the game back to Mildenhall he had Elliott caught at the wicket by Karl Holmes and then had Harris (0) caught by Warraich. He picked up four wickets in a twelve over spell that saw Elmstead faltering on 163 for 6. Once again Elmstead showed their metal as Sargeant (52) and Gates (22) added 54 before Sargeant was run out. Warraich retuned to pick up two more wickets for Mildenhall as Elmstead closed on 231 for 9.

Mildenhall lost the early wicket of Fran Bester but then set up a victory with Ben Shepperton and Azeem Ghumman adding 158. Ghumman fell when stumped by Sargeant off Gates for 58. There was good support from Andy Squire (14) and Richard Cross (12), however it was Ben Shepperson who dominated the run chase finishing on 125 * as Mildenhall won by 6 wickets.
