Match report Mildenhall Ladies were looking for a return to form when they took on Copdock at Home on Sunday. Batting first openers Fliss Cleverley (25) and Clair Webb (20) made a solid start then Lucy Fraser went on to top score with 32 and with captain Kayleigh Francis chipping in with 14* not out the home side closed on 122 off their 35 overs.
With Copdock on 94 for 6 and 10 overs left the match was finely poised, however Mildenhall were not to be denied, Pippa Palmer and Fliss Cleverley returned to the attack and picked up two wickets each and bowl Copdock out for 107. Palmer finished with 4 for 17 and Cleverly 4 for 16
