Mildenhall 2nd X1 played away at Long Melford where the home side batted first and posted 200 for the loss of 5 wickets. Opener Nick Wright led the way with 54 with Walters, Byford, Boon and Brett Wright all making 20’s.It was Mildenhalls seasoned campaigners Martin Taylor (15 overs, 2 for 46) and Lee Chipchase (13 overs, 2 for 45) that prevented a real “run fest”, while Ashley Clark helped the away team pick up bowling points with his 3 wickets.
