Match report
The 2nd X1 entertained Felixstowe in a Two Counties Division Two game. With enforced selection changes to the Mildenhall teams, Andy Squire took on the mantle of 2nd team Captain. Mildenhall were quietly confident at the half way mark, Jamie Allen and Ben Shepperson both picked up 3 wickets as they restricted Felixstowe to 212. The home side had chased down a similar total the week before. For Felixstowe Redfern top scored with 65.

Mildenhall never got ahead of the required rate as they were pegged back by some economical bowling from Connell and “Man of the Match” Redfern. Lee Chipchase topped scored with 36 and even with contributions in the 20’s from Jamie Lee, Andy Squire, Adam Trett and Richard Thurston, Mildenhall fell short by 36 runs as they reached 176 for 8 in their allotted overs.
