Match report Mildenhall 1st X1 travelled to Woolpit with hopes of finally completing a league match. Those hopes grew as they quickly had Woolpit reduced to 29 for 3. James Holmes claiming all three wickets. M.Jones (98) and D.Crame (44) however steadied the ship adding 114 for the fourth wicket and the impetus moved back to the home side. Mildenhall finally turned to their new coach Azeem Ghumman who dismissed both batsmen. He went on to take 4 for 38 allowing Mildenhall to contain Woolpit on 189 for 8. Holmes finished with 3 for 29.

Mildenhalls start was a mirror of the Woolpits as the visitors found themselves 32 for 3.Opener Ben Shepperson and Andy Squire staged a recovery. Eventually Squire was out for 22 with the score on 107. Parker returned to snatch three more wickets and knock the Mildenhall challenge off course. Shepperson (91) was caught out in a desperate bid to chase down the runs. Woolpit were not to be denied and bowled Mildenhall out for 174 and won by 15 runs. Parker had a great afternoon finishing with 6 for 36.
