MILDENHALL CRICKET CLUB Won by 110 runs

Match report Hurrah! The final game of the season and finally, another win after 3 losses on the trot.
But, what a shame that the cameras were not in place. I’m sure Mo would have loved to see his bowling over and over again but sadly it wont be possible. Five for 26 off 6.4 overs, 1 bowled, 2 LBW and 2 caught. An excellent afternoon and my choice for MOTM. But cricket is a team game and everyone contributed in one way or another. Worthy got 96 off 84, Connor with 45 and Ben with 36. Even Abdullah, although he only received 11 balls, scored 12 off them and looked like he is going to be a menace to many aspiring bowlers next year. In the field we looked good with 7 catches, 2 of which were taken by Captain Connor in yet another tidy performance behind the stumps. Last but not least, Liam had a good spell getting his first wicket for the seconds, the first of many more I suspect.
It's been a pleasure scoring for you boys this season and I look forward to doing the same next summer unless I get demoted to the thirds by the powers that be. 🤔
