All Stars Cricket is a new ECB initiative to promote cricket to 5-8 year olds.  

If we get enough take up MCC will be starting the 8 week course in May. If you know of any families who would be interested in this please can you let them know.

The programme highlights:-

• Aimed at giving girls and boys aged 5-8 a great experience of cricket
• Emphasis on fun and being active, and focus on developing children’s movement skills
• Safe and fully accredited: 
  • Designed by the ECB (requiring safeguarding, risk and insurance assessments before we were accredited)
  • All coaches are specially trained and fully Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked
  • Uses soft balls and plastic bats and equipment to support children learning how to catch, bowl and bat
• Valuable time for parents to have with their children - mums and dads are encouraged to take part too if they wish
• Eight one-hour sessions, held over eight weeks (starting Friday 19th May)
• Each child will earn stars as the weeks progress, and receive a pack of cricket goodies to keep including: a cricket bat, ball, backpack, water bottle, personalised shirt and cap
