Storm Damage

29 Aug 2012

Mildenhalls 1st X1s chances of grabbing that elusive Two Counties Division One title took a blow after a thunderstorm put paid to their match with Coggeshall, MCC were left with 10 points while rivals Woolpit took maximum points from our neighbours Exning. Some of the team have taken time out to join the club on this weeks tour to Eastbourne and picture are emerging via Twitter ,so take a look via the website to follow results etc.

Meanwhile  Mildenhall will be at Bury St Edmunds on Sunday 16th September to defend the Suffolk Cup, where they will be joined by the host club along with Sudbury and Woolpit. Thanks to all the members who responded to play in the alternative fixture on the same day, that being the charity fixture against the Black Sheep Cricket Club. The selected team will be posted early next week so watch those e-mails.

A reminder to all that from this coming Saturday all fixtures commence half an hour earlier at 12.30p.m.
