Last year a rejuvenated MCC Ladies played in the Two Counties Ladies Challenge and acquitted themselves well - winning 4, losing 4 but sadly losing 4 games to rain.  The good times returned and the atmosphere was always positive, inclusive and fun - what MCC Ladies have been known for.

We managed to put out 11 ladies in every game we played last year, but we are working on a pretty thin squad mimbers-wise.  Consequently we are always looking for new recruits.  Our squad ranges from 12 years old up to........well I dare not say since a man should never comment on a ladies age but lets say we have mothers with grown children playing so the range is wide.

We run indoor batting nets on a Sunday morning and one of our coaches Brian runs a bi-weekly session on a Tuesday night in the MCT gym working on drills and fitness.  From April we will move to outdoor training sessions.

If you, or anyone you know, no matter how young or old, experienced or complete novice fancies a crack at cricket then please feel free to contact me and we can get you (or them) introduced to the great game - as my mother always said "try it, you might like it!".
