It is with great sadness that I have learnt that Roger Pendleton one of our Vice Presidents passed away on Monday. When I arrived at Mildenhall back in the sixties Roger had taken on the captaincy of the reformed second eleven and did much to ensure it became a permanent fixture of the club. He was still playing when we moved to Wamil and was a founder member of the Wamil Wasps (The MCC football team). He was an active committee members for many years and following retirement from cricket he has served as a Life Vice President for well over thirty years.
