A timely all round performance by Australian coach Erik Laubscher saw Hadleighs Australian theme evening slightly tainted by defeat to MCC. Erik scored 70 valuable runs and took 5 wickets. Captain Neil Clark helped his third team keep up their title hopes with 90* against East Bergholt and Steve Hunt helped himself to 6 wickets and gave the 4th X1 a welcome win.The 2nd X1 continue to struggle having just one  50 score recorded and after six matches there is  no batsman yet with an aggregate total of 100 runs.
