Pippa Palmer!
09 Jun 2013
MCC Ladies had not had the easiest start to the season, playing Easton home and away. Easton are favourites to win the league this season.
However, today the ladies showed great spirit and determination against the reigning Two Counties Challenge champions Ipswich - bowling them out (when I say bowling I mean that quite literally, all 10 were bowled) for 26.
I think that Pippa Palmer's figures may be some sort of record for wickets taken without conceeding a run; her figures were a quite unbelievable 5.3-5-0-6, yes 6 wickets and no runs conceeded. She was ably supported by the other bowlers but it could be said that she single-handedly won the game. Congratulations Pippa!
