Another cricket season draws to a close and as such we have the last game of the year on Saturday. It’s the traditional President’s team v Chairman’s team match. Paul and Tony along with Carole and Jean would like to invite all members and associate members who are not playing to come along and watch for as long as you can and perhaps time your visit so that you can join the players at teatime for refreshments.

Once again we hope to take a big group photo during the tea interval and everyone, including the children, are welcome to sit on the bank and be in the picture.

The match will start at 11.30 a.m. prompt and all players selected should be at the pavilion by 10.45 for bacon rolls, tea and coffee. Dependent on the weather it’s hoped to play a 50 over a side match.

Presidents team: Lou Handy (Captain), Matt Allen, Jack Beaumont, Lee Chipchase, Ryan Clark (Wkt1), Kieren Davis (Wkt2), Martin Kingdon, Chris Lewis, Mick Saunders, Andy Squire, Ben Tippett, Alex Wilkins, Alistair Younger.

Players to confirm their availability this week are AJ Warraich, Tymal Mills and Tom Westley.
