The Festive Season will soon be upon us and there are a couple of traditional activities to bring to your attention.  

On Christmas Eve the pavilion is open from midday with your hosts with the most - Messrs Chipchase & Taylor - serving up the Christmas cheer.  For those of you who have attended before this needs no selling, for those of you who have not indulged why not come down and join the fun.  The pavilion is generally open until around 6-7pm so even those that have to work during the day can indulge.  The Christmas Draw will take place, as Paul has mentioned previously this is our biggest fund raiser in the winter months and there are sure to be plenty of prizes.

On New Years Day we normally have a game of cricket on the astro pitch on the second square.  This usually happens snow or shine provided there are sufficient numbers.  If you would like to play in this (or should I say next) year's game please let me know at your earliest convenience so I can gauge the interest.
