In pursuit of furthering his career Tymal Mills has signed to play Premier League Cricket in Kent this year when his Essex commitments allow. He has sent the members a message below.
Mildenhall Cricket Club wish him well in Sri Lanka next week and hope that his ascendancy within the professional cricket ranks continue a pace.
Hello all,
Hope you are all well and enjoying 2014!
As some of you may know, unfortunately I won't be playing my club cricket
at Mildenhall next season, I shall be playing down in the Kent Premier league
for Blackheath.
I do not want to say goodbye as I will definitely still be knocking around
but I did just want to send a message to you all to say thank you for the past 5
years or so, being my first full time club you have all in your own way helped
me to get to where I am today. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing for Mildenhall
and am extremely thankful to everyone at the club for being patient with me when I was younger and giving me lots of opportunities to play and enjoy my
cricket!
As I said this is not good bye and I will be sure to see you
all soon but I wish you all the best for the upcoming season!
