As a club, let's hit the ground running!
10 Feb 2015
We undoubtedly need to hit the ground running this season especially with 2 teams playing in higher leagues this coming season. The Cricket & Coaching committee is making opportunities available to you, so please use them.
Culford Nets - these commence this coming Saturday, starting at 3pm. If you want some tailored coaching please let the C&C Comm know if you re coming by filling in your availability in advance so the sessions can be planned. They were well organised and well attended last year, let's make them a success this year.
Batting Nets - these are in full flow at Great Heath. The Monday sessions are full up but we are now looking to expand and provide Thursday evening sessions; if you want to get involved please contact Nick. Ladies net on Sunday so if you are a lady that may be interested or you know someone who might be please contact me and we can get you started.
Strength & Conditioning - last week we hit the first goal to have 15 attend; the next goal is 20 attending by the end of February. It is hard work but good fun and there is a real sense of camaraderie. It has been great to see some new faces (come down this Saturday to see one of MCC's favourite sons) and some returning faces.
All the above give us chance to improve our fitness and sharpen our skills in advance of the coming season, so as a club lets take advantage of this and ensure that come the opening day of the season we are as ready, willing and able as we can be.
Cheers
Lou
