Match report On Sunday the 1st X1 were home to Withersfield in the Hunts County Bats league and like Woolpit the previous, the home team took full advantage of a beautiful track to rack up 326 for 4. Ben Shepperson being the centurion this time with 141. He and Matthew Barber added 162 for the third wicket. Barber eventually falling for 87.

The target soon proved too much for Withersfield as Renu Van Overmeire and Mark Thurston took two each of the first four Withersfield wickets. Some spirited hitting from B.Piper (35) was not enough as Withersfield tried to accelerate before being bowled out for 186.
