Match report Mildenhalls 2nd X1 had a home match against Brockley in a Two Counties Division Two game. The season has also been a disappointing one for the side, not for missing out on honours but because relegation was staring them in the face. Sykes and Reed had Mildenhall trapped like rabbits in the headlights as the Mildenhall batsmen produced a series of loose shots that saw them bowled out for 114 in 35 over’s. They looked very much like a doomed side. Captain Andy Squire topped scored with 20. Dean Sykes finished with 5 for 32 and Joe Reed 4 for 45.

Brockley did in deed make light work of winning. They knocked off the runs required for the loss of only one wicket. J.Reed was caught by Luke Turner off the bowling of Jamie Allen for a breezy 37 with the score on 47. Fisher 30* and Kearney 45* saw Brockley home in the 22nd over.
