Match report Mildenhall 2nd X1 have been unable to find any form this season and Saturday was no exception as they lost to top of the table Maldon in a two Counties Division Two League match at Wamil Walk.
Maldon batted first and were bowled out in the last over for 218.Fleming top scored with 60 and Barber made 41. For Mildenhall Martin Taylor and Steve Ready took three wickets each and skipper Andy Squire showed his prowess in the field hanging on to three splendid catches.
It was Squire (70) who took on the run chase and briefly he had support from John Absolon (17). Mildenhall have not been able to field a settled batting line up all season and none of the other batsmen chosen for this match were able to score more than 6. Mildenhall slumped to 120 all out and losing by 98 runs. Division Three beckons
