Match report Mildenhall 3rd X1 retrieved some pride for the club when they won their Two Counties Division 5 match against Harwich by 8 wickets. Harwich batted first and were bowled out for 131. Rhys Desborough had been absent for about a month and had been under some intense training and coaching with his bowling. His work proved rewarding as he picked up 5 wickets for 34 runs. Chris Reeve also turned in some good figures as he sent down 13.4 over’s and claimed 4 for 27. For Harwich Newell topped scored with 44.

In reply Reeve turned in a man of the match performance as he produced another half century to put Mildenhall on their way. His opening partner completed a well made 38 and it was left to James Taylor (18*) and Steve Grinling (9*) to see home the Mildenhall team in the 26th over.
