Match report Mildenhall 3rd X1 played at the victory ground against Bury 3rd X1 and compiled 251 for 5. Lou Handy returned from a barren spell to make 71 and Steve Grinling found form with 57. Captain Mick Saunders gave good support with 33, as did Lee Chipchase with 35. The Bury team found the run rate required just too much for them. Despite a gallant 88* from S.Nunn the home side finished 38 runs adrift on 213 for 6. Mildenhall bowlers Chipchase and Mark Thurston picked up two wickets each.
