Match report Exning were brought down to earth at the park after the euphoria of gaining victory at Lakenheath the previous Sunday. Batting first the Park side managed to score 155 for7 with seniors Kent Tomsett (51) ans Simon Allen (31) scoring the bulk of the runs. Olly Watso and Ben Shepperson grabbed early wicketswhile mark Thurston (3-43) and Skipper Andy Youngs(2-40) ensured the target was kept within managable proportions.
The usual opener Richard Cross and the some what unusual Lucky Phangabantu set off after the target. Phangabantu gave up his wicket after reaching an entertaining 57 with the score on 120 in just 20 overs.Cross continued unabashed racking up an unbeaten 85 as Mildenhall crossed the winning line for the loss of just two wickets.
