Match report On Sunday the Peterborough Town Ladies proved a much tougher challenge away at Elton Park. Batting first they racked up 136 despite being at 21 for 4 after 5 overs. In total 7 wickets were shared among Mo Jones, Kirsten Arnold, Kathryn Carter and Mary Munley. In reply the MCC top order failed to create a sound base leaving less experienced batters to face some quick, accurate bowling on a difficult wicket. The run rate became a mountainous challenge and MCC were all out for 77, 59 runs short. A stunning catch by Angie Joiner-Handy and a defiant 3 not out earned her Player of the Match.
