Match report The Sunday 2s had an exciting but narrow win over Great Cornard. Mildenhall batted first and reached 163-8 from their 40 overs, Steve Hunt top scored with 60.

Great Cornard set off at pace and appeared to be cruising at 82-1 after 20 overs, however the introduction of Peter Webb turned the game back in Mildenhalls favour with figures of 4-26 from his 10 overs. However after he had completed his spell the runs began to flow again and Cornard need only 15 from the last 5 overs with 5 wickets left.

Youngsters Jack Gould & Jean Van Overmeire kept things tight and picked up wickets leaving Cornard needing 4 off the final over with 2 wickets left. Three singles were scored off the first 4 balls to tie the score a suicidal run-out then followed before Gould bowled Cornard's final batsmen to send the crowd wild and give Mildenhall a win by losing fewer wickets.
