Match report Mildenhall 2nd X1 continued their winning ways when they travelled to Sudbury in a Two Counties Division 3 match against Sudbury. Sudbury batted first and had been reduced to 36 for six with Mildenhall bowlers Andy Youngs and Martin Taylor taking 3 wickets each. Blumfield then got another two wickets as Sudbury advanced to 79. Sudbury batsmen W.Shropshire (74*) and A. Macdiarmid (25*) then made an unbroken partnership of 71 to push the home side up to 150 for 8 at the end of their innings.

Mildenhalls reply was built around Steve Grinling with an aggressive 61. Richard Thurston finished on 21* as the visitors got home by six wickets and plenty of overs to spare.
