Mildenhall 3rd X1 were involved in a tight encounter in their away game. They set Gt Bromley to get 247 having made 246 for 4. Lou Handy (33) and Ryan Clark set things up with a 90 run opening partnership. Clark went on to make 90. Lee Chipchase (38*) and Steve Hunt (31*) added fifty at the death.
In reply Gt Bromley took up the challenge taking 12 off Chipchases first over. However it was Chipchase who came back at the end to grab two final wickets as Bromley fell just three runs short Chipchase finished with 4 for 54 while Chris Reeve supported well with 3 for 65.
