Match report On Sunday Mildenhall 1st X1 went across to Lakenheath on an afternoon of changeable weather. Lakenheath batted first as scored 183 for 8. Tim Milner (70*) led a fight back with assistance from Richard (30) and Adam Horrex (35) after Mildenhall had picked up 4 cheap wickets early on.
Mildenhalls reply got off badly as both openers Mark Thurston and Mathew Barber were back in the pavilion before a run had been scored. Mildenhalls recovery came through Ben Shepperson (75) ably assisted by Kevin Pearson (25), playing his first innings for the club in several seasons. Mildenhalls coach Lwana showcased his batting expertise. Lennox packed a punch as he launched mighty sixes to all parts of the ground in an innings of 75.He finished by taking 24 off Horrex before perishing on the last ball of the over. Mildenhall passed Lakenheaths score for the loss of 6 wickets.
