Match report The 2nd X1 needed to win to ensure a stay in their Hunts County Bats league. They set up a victory in restricting Tendering Park to 159 for 9. Ben Tippet 3 for 49 and Peter Webb 2 for 29 took out the top order and Steve hunt balling at the death grabbed 3 for 33.
Mildenhalls reply looked promising as Alex Lack (36) and Andy Francis (26) set up the launch pad. However Mildenhall then lost 3 quick wicket to catches and half the side were out for 84.The job of consolidating and then resuming the run chase became too much for Peter Webb (29) and Tony Cornell (28), despite an unbroken partnership of 61 they could not penetrate the defensive field set by Tendering and Mildenhall fell 12 runs short.
