Match report As you will be aware Saturday was a wet day . This caused the abandonment of all four MCC fixtures due to be played on Saturday. On Sunday the club had only one fixture and this was a friendly against Blach Sheep CC from Norfolk. They are a nomadic side born out of ex Norfolk County players. Mildenhall are included in their fixture list which is drawn up to enable them to have an enjoyable game of cricket and at the same time raise funds for an adopted local childrens charity. This year they batted first and scored 154 for 6 in their 40 overs. Mildenhall got home by 5 wickets following a half century from James Taylor and a big hitting 44 from Craig Warren. More importantly than the result was that £325 was raised for the charity fund. Since these matches started back in 2001 the total raised now surpasses £3000
