Match report Mildenhall 1st team travelled to Coggeshall on Bank Holiday Monday for their Division 1 match.
Batting first Mildenhall got off to a flyer, passing 50 for no wicket. However the introduction of the slower bowlers picked up both openers Alex Reynolds (38) & Karl Holmes (28). On a bowler friendly wicket Mildenhall's middle order made contributions but wickets continued to fall. Chris Baugh (26), Ziaf Kulasi (22) & Steve Lankester (28) all falling to spin. The lower order helped boost Mildenhall's final score to 204-9. W Blackwell taking 5-65.

In reply Mildenhall's opening bowlers started well, reducing Coggeshall to 17-3. Ben Shepperson & Andrew Youngs also picked up a wicket each to reduce Coggeshall to 65-5.
Coggeshall then formed a partnership of 99 before A Stockton (55) was run out and O Blakwell (52) was bowled by a slower ball by Tymal Mills.
With the asking rate climbing higher Mills & Lennox Lwana bowled tightly & picked up wickets as Coggeshall finished on 193-9, 10 runs short. Lwana the pick of the bowlers with 4-51.
