The reply started well for Mildenhall as opening bowlers Ali Kingdon & Martin Taylor both tool early wickets to reduce Maldon to 37-3. Unfortunately this was as good as it got for the visitors, capatin Lou Handy tried to shuffle his attack, using 7 bowlers. However none could sustain the pressure required as Maldon reached their target for the loss of 4 wickets.
