Match report Mildenhall 3rd X1 entertained Bury St Edmunds 3rd x1 on the second pitch at Wamil and in a high scoring game the home side made 279 for 7. Some sound batting from Jon Giffin 25, Jason Moore 20 and Steve Hunt 21 was matched by yet another 50 by James Taylor (53). However it was late order batting from Lou Handy (55*) and Jonathon Absolon (85) that enabled Mildenhall to post a very challenging total. A.Smith and J.Hayes picked up three wickets a piece for Bury.

Mildenhalls total always appeared a big asked for the ten men of Bury and despite some spirited batting by P.Thearle 45 and an unbeaten 87 from A.Green the visitors fell 53 runs short by the close of their innings. Tom Allen, Liam Ward and Jason Moore took two wickets each as Bury made 226 for 7. Mildenhall took 18 points for their endeavours.
