Mildenhall 3rd X1 continued their return to form with a facile 9 wicket win against Abberton 2nd X1. Tom Allen wreaked havoc with the ball dismissing five Abberton batsmen and finishing with 5 for 26. He received good support from Chris Reeve who sent down 14 economical overs for just 24 runs and he took two wickets for his efforts. Captain Lou Handy also rowed in with a couple of wickets. Abberton were bowled out for 115.
Mick Saunders (54*) continued his recent form and with Alex Lack (30) saw Mildenhall well on their way. After Lacks departure it was left to Man of the match Tom Allen (5*) to join Saunders and get the home side to victory in the 24th over.
