Match report Mildenhall 4th X1 took on Sudbury 3rd X1 on the second square at Wamil. Sudbury batted first and an unbeaten 138 by T. Beaumont allowed the visitors to post 248 for 3. Mildenhalls junior bowler Jack Bowman got two of the wickets.
Mildenhall began solidly as Paul Thurston and Lily Reynolds put on 68. Thurston (33) was then out to a juggled catch. Alex Lack joined Reynolds as the pair showed maturity beyond their age and each recorded their first fifty for the team. They paced their partnership to bring Mildenhall within sight of victory before Reynolds was caught in the deep for a well-made 77. Lack was out soon after bowled for 61. It was left to Mark Thurston (12*) and an aggressive Alex King (21*) to see Mildenhall home by 7 wickets and well-earned victory.

For the second Saturday running all four Mildenhall teams had won their matches. This week all four teams had chased down the oppositions score. In the 3rd and 4th X1 matches an opposition opener had scored an unbeaten century and still finished on the losing side.
