MILDENHALL CRICKET CLUB Won Mildenhall won by 129 runs

Match report Mlidenhall 4th X1 ran up another impressive total. This time they scored 243 for 3 against Felixstowe. Opener Mark Thurston carried on in similar form to last week and made 58*. Jordan Francis made a quick fire 29 and Ziaf Kulasi continued in similar vein adding 24. The spotlight however fell on Neil Clark who compiled a first century for the Mildenhall club and finished unbeaten on 104.

Felixstowe’s response was soon stuttering with Martin Kingdom taking two wickets and the other opening bowler Joe Turner getting one. Ziaf Kulasi ripped out the middle order finishing with 3 for 31. Mark Thurston mopped up the tail by taking 4 wickets for just 5 runs in only 4.1 overs. Felixstowe were dismissed for 114 some 129 runs short. The fourth X1 will have to wait until next week to see if Long Melford can snatch the Division 7 title away from them.
