Match report Sunday saw Mildenhall 1st X1 embroiled in another local derby. They went the short distance to Worlington to do battle in a Hunts County Bats division one match. Mildenhall batted first and posted 262 for 4. Frannie Bester (111) scored a second consecutive century and Captain Ben Shepperson waded in with 57. Chris Baugh ended unbeaten on 48.

Set to score over six an over, Worlington were reduced to 46 for 3 before Graham and Richard Ford gave the home side some renewed hope. Shepperson introduced himself in to the bowling attack and produced the decisive winning spell he got the wickets of both Graham Ford (67) and Richard Ford (27), both out to catches by Craig Warren and Steve Ready respectively. Shepperson then grabbed two more wickets as Worlington tried to keep their run rate going. Despite some resistance from J.Grande (31) Mildenhall were able to switch their attack again with Ready and Chris Baugh taking the last three wickets and getting Mildenhall home by 20 runs.
