On Sunday Mildenhall 1st x1 had the home return fixture with Bury St Edmunds, having lost the away fixture last Sunday. Mildenhall batted first and openers Joe Reed (33) and Steve Grinling (37) got them off to a good start, however it was Eddie Finnis (49*) batting at seven who raised the run rate at the end enabling Mildenhall to close on 235 for 7

When Bury reached the half way stage of their innings the match was finely poised with the away team on 90 for 1. Ben Shepperson then bowled Rynsard Perry for 46. Rash was finally run out for 73 and with Andy Youngs returning to the attack and taking two wickets with his first two balls and a third in his next over Bury lost the initiative and lost the game by 19 runs.
