Mildenhall 3rd X1 playing on the second square at Wamil Way were also asked to bat first by their opponents Elmstead Grasshoppers 2nd x1. James Taylor top scored with 46 while there were useful contribution from Mick Saunders (36) and Kieron Davis (24). However their final score of 164 on a drying wicket did not appear to be enough.
Mildenhall only managed to get half the Elmstead side out before the visitors scored their required runs, Ben Cooper was undefeated on 78, while for Mildenhall Martin Kingdon and Lee Chipchase claimed two wickets each.
