Match report Mildenhall 4s hosted Braintree as they looked for their first victory since early June. Bowling first the visitors lost a wicket in the first over to a diving catch in the gully. On a track that offered very little for bowlers Mildenhall managed to restrict run-scoring. Seb Lawson was the pick of the bowlers with 2-21 from 15 overs. Braintree reached 169-5.

This total looked under par and the visitors weren’t helped by having only 9 players. Ashley Clark opened the batting and looked good in making 25 before he was dismissed. This was however Braintree’s only success as Paul Thurston (59*) and Kieran Davis (52*) saw Mildenhall to a 9 wicket victory.
