In reply the visitors found the run chase too much. Mildenhall operated through Renoux Van Overmeire (2 wickets) and Jo Turner (4 wickets) at one end while the young Heywood brothers Tom and Matt bagged two wickets each at the other end. Battifords A Simmons top scored with 35 and there was a defiant 27* made by S Kelk, however Battisford were bowled out for 101, inflicting a defeat of some 136 runs.
