Match report Mildenhall 1stX1s top order batsmen finally came to the party. Having suffered two defeats in a row, opener Alex Lack (64) and senior player Andy Squire (65) together with Erik Laubscher (37) ensured Mildenhall got runs on the board. Chris Baird made 34* enabling Mildenhall to close their innings on 225 for 7 in their away match at Witham.
In reply AJ Warraich and Jamie Allen took early wickets before Tom Allen stepped up to grab two wickets with the score on 43. Steve Lankester then trapped Hawes (21) with no addition to the Witham score. The home side never fully recovered. Laubscher produced his best spell of the season taking 3 for 11,while his spin twin Lankester picked up two more wickets. Witham were bowled out for 108. Lankester finished with 3 for 49 and Mildenhall secured the win by 117 runs
