Match report Mildenhall 3rd X1 took on Bury St Edmunds 3s on the second square at Mildenhall and the visitors succumbed to a superb spell of bowling by Martin (Killer) Kingdon. He sent down 13 overs and picked up 8 for 32. Joe Turner and Vince Colby each picked up a wicket as Bury were bowled out for 65. Mildenhall knocked the runs off in 12 overs, losing just one wicket, that of Jordan Francis (13). Lou Handy made 34* and James Taylor was not out 5.
In nice touch by the two captains having seen their game finished around 4.30p.m.they took full advantage of the day and played a further 20 over practice match.
