Match report It was another academy youngster Gabe Jones who took the honours for Mildenhall in the 4th X1 match at home to Abberton. He claimed 6 for 27 in 11 overs to see off the visitors challenge to the Mildenhall score of 206 for 5. In the Mildenhall innings, contributions from senior batsmen Andy Francis 44, Paul Thurston 61 and Lou Handy 35 helped by 38 from Charles Wilkens took the team passed 200. After the Jones exhibition of spin bowling, the visitors were left on 122 for 9.
