Match report Mildenhall Sunday 2nd X1 had two father and son combinations, however it was two young brothers who were first to take centre stage. In their first ever opening partnership Tom and Matt Heywood compiled 75 runs against BSSSC at Wamil Way. Then with the help of two “father figures” Lou Handy (43) and Steve Hunt (36), Mildenhall posted 221 for 7. Despite a spirited 51 from W Rout the visitors fell 65 runs short and were bowled out. Steve Ready took 3 for 29, while Kiefer Renouf, Matt and Tom Heywood got two wickets each.
