Match report Mildenhall 2s hosted local rivals Exning and after chose to insert their local rivals who found run scoring hard to come by. Duncan Fraser (2-32) took early wickets whilst Jon Allen (3-9) was the pick of the Mildenhall bowlers, dismissing danger man Tim Catley for just 15. J Pyke (45) offered some resistance for Exning as they closed on 142-8.
It was Allen who then anchored the Mildenhall run chase with what was a fine all-round performance. Much to his teammates delight he ground out his first half century for the team finishing 53 not out. Luke Turner also made 33 as Mildenhall chased down their target with 6 wickets and 2 overs remaining.
