MILDENHALL CRICKET CLUB Lost by 15 runs on Duckworth Lewis

Match report The onset of rain early into Mildenhall's innings , coupled with us losing three wickets for 44 runs prevented any chance of us winning this match under the DLS method. This was a shame as the target was well within our sights despite Messrs Duckworth, Lewis and the one who's name I can never remember ruling otherwise.
The visitor's innings was notable due to the first 5 wickets falling to the safe hands of Jack Potticary behind the stumps, three from the bowling of Rashy and one each for Jack Loveday and Alex Cruikshank. Tristan also bowled well but went unrewarded. Jack Bowman probably had his best bowling spell for the 1sts with 3 for 35 off 8. It must also be noted that whilst only 2 no balls were bowled there were 16 wides!
Not much to say about the batting really except Jake Foley hitting 20 off 21 balls before giving a simple catch to the James Hale. Jack Potticary looked as though he might give the visitors some stick but was thwarted by the weather which brought the game to an early finish.
