Match report _The Super 2s had a slightly changed look for the visit of Hadleigh on Saturday. Kieron Davis and Tom Griffin coming in for their first starts of the season.

Hadleigh skipper Josh Davey won the toss and decided to bat.

At one stage they looked to be heading towards a commanding score with 50 plus stands between Dias and Davey and Davey and Piddington, however, having been 206-5, they lost their last 5 wickets for 40 runs finishing on 246 all out.
Davey too scored with 65, Dias scored 45 and Pidds 53.
For MCC 2s, Hussain took 4-43, JKM 2-21, Ash 1-44, Jonah 1-54 including the wonder ball to bowl Hadleigh overseas Maunze and Griffin 1-59.

In reply, tight bowling from the Hadleigh bowlers never allowed MCC 2s to get into a strong position with boundaries hard to come by and plenty of dot balls building pressure.
They finished on 168-7 with Ryan Clark contributing 48, Ash Clark 26 and Murti 25 not out.

The slow bowlers kept it particularly tight for Hadleigh, Wallis finished with 2-17 off 10 overs and Leg spinner Millions showed great control with 1-26 off his 10.
Seamers, Manthorpe took 2-25 off 7, Tanner 1-41 off 8 and Piddington 1-20 off 5.

MCC 2s take 8 points from the game and look forward to bringing all parts of their game together at East Bergholt next week.
