MILDENHALL CRICKET CLUB Won by 8 wickets

Match report Kesgrave won the toss and batted first on a hot day at Wamil Way.
In a solid bowling display the Super 2s didn’t let the opposition build any momentum and took wickets at regular intervals.
Heskey grabbed the first 3 in a very fine spell of 10-3-23-3.
JKM also took 3 off his ten overs including 2 maidens.
Murti tied up one end with 9-4-15-2 and Luke DP took late wickets and finished with 2 for 8 off 3 overs.
Skipper Mike Worne topped scored with 36 in a total of 114.
Luke DP and Dom Palmer came out to bat and started positively. They took the score to 47 off 7 overs when LDP was the first to go, given out LBW to off spinner Godward in his first over. Luke hit 3 fours and a 6 in his 23.
Dom was then caught behind off Colver for 28 including 6 fours with the score on 64.
Ryan Clark (29no) and CG (25no) then saw the Super 2s home in a solid all round 8 wicket win that takes them up to 7th place.
