Opener C.Perrin lead the way, top scoring with 58 as Gt Bromley made 213 for 8. R.Lawson made 42 and there were contributions from J.Seeky (29) and L.Perrin (26). Mark Thurston was the pick of the Mildenhall bowlers with 3 for 39.
Mildenhalls reply included James Taylor (9) scoring his 1000 run for the season before being caught next ball. Mildenhall lost half their side for 77 but good fighting innings from Captain Lou Handy (40) and George Aabech Smith (40) and Mark Thurston (27) saw the home side back in the game. Their challenge slipped away when with six overs to go Coverdale was bowled for 15 and they lost their last two wickets on 184.
