Match report Mildenhall 2s hosted Copford who started well despite a good opening bowling spell for Jamie Allen (1-30) and progressed along well to 80-1. However they then suffered a dramatic collapse as Ben Tippet (3-47) & Andrew Youngs (4-28) reduced the visitors to 98-8. A partnership then took Copford over 150, however Jack Beaumont (2-15) claimed the final 2 wickets as Mildenhall bowled the visitors out for 157.

In reply openers Steven Grinling & Ryan Clark formed another solid opening partnership before both batsmen were dismissed LBW, Grinling for 41 & Clark for 39. With plenty of overs to spare it was left to Luke Turner (27*) & Jon Giffin (14*) to take Mildenhall to victory and claim maximum points to maintain pressure on the league leaders from second place.
